ABOUT US
Our family-run Olympia Hotel & Restaurant is located on the grounds of the shooting range where the Olympic Games took place in 1972. Of course, not only sports enthusiasts are welcome on this historic site, but also guests who have nothing to do with the Olympic disciplines of shooting. Nevertheless, the topic of the Olympic Games can be found throughout the house. Our guests are also welcome to take a shooting course at the Bavarian Sports Shooting Association. Just ask us about these and other possibilities and offers to explore the beautiful city of Munich.
Our lobby has inviting areas to linger and meet friends. WiFi is available free of charge. In summer you can just meet in our beer garden and enjoy the tranquility of the facility. Your four-legged friends are also very welcome here.
All our rooms have been completely renovated in 2021, updated to a modern level and newly furnished.
In the hotel lobby we have a cigarette vending machine as well as a vending machine for hot drinks over which you can help yourself in times when our bar or restaurant is closed. During opening hours, we are also happy to serve you in the hotel lobby with chilled lounge music.
At the reception you can purchase hygiene articles (shaving set, bathrobe, sewing kit, shoe shine sponge, toothbrush set) for daily needs. There you can also borrow an iPad and an umbrella for your stay.
Central location only 25 minutes to Munich city center and 20 minutes to Munich Airport. We have ample free parking also for buses. Tour groups expressly welcome. Close proximity to the B13 and A99 highway. Only 5 minutes away from the Allianz Arena – home of FC Bayern Munich.

ROOMS
Each of our rooms has two single beds, a bathroom with shower, Smart TV, armchair and stool along with desk, wardrobe and a balcony that invites you to linger.
Of course, each bathroom has a hairdryer and free toiletries (shower gel, shampoo, body lotion).
All our rooms have been completely renovated in 2021, updated to a modern level and newly furnished.
We also have handicapped-friendly rooms.
All our rooms are of course non-smoking.
JOURNEY
Arrival by plane
Munich Airport "Franz Josef Strauß" is the international airport of the Bavarian capital Munich and is about 24 km away from our Olympia Hotel & Restaurant. By car you can reach us from there in about 20 minutes via the highway A92 and the B13.
Arrival by train
Munich Hauptbahnhof is the central railway station in Munich, Bavaria. With about 400,000 passengers a day, it is the third busiest long-distance station of Deutsche Bahn. It is located about 12 km from Olympia Hotel & Restaurant. Via the B13 you can reach us by car in about 25 minutes.
Arrival by public transportation
With the MVV regional bus 294, transfer to stop Olympia Schießanlage.
Arrival by car
From the west or east via the highway A99, exit München-Neuherberg (12a) and then follow the B13 and the signs Olympia Schießanlage.
From the north either as via the highway A99, exit München-Neuherberg (12a) and then follow the B13 and the signs Olympia Schießanlage or via the highway A92, exit Unterschleißheim (3) and then over the B13 to the south and then follow the signs Olympia Schießanlage.
From the south via the city of Munich via the B13 to the north and then follow the signs Olympia Schießanlage.
Shuttle service: We have a shuttle service and offer trips to the airport, the main train station and the Allianz Arena. Just ask us!
GASTRONOMY
Breakfast
We offer an extensive, internationally oriented breakfast buffet from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Lunch
From 11:30 to 14:00 we serve lunch in our restaurant. You can choose from our menu or from our weekly changing menu.
In the evening
In the evening, our restaurant is open from 17:00 to 23:00 (hot meals until 22:00) and we serve you à la carte or our weekly menu.
Our gastronomic concept is characterized by fresh products that we source from local suppliers. We pay particular attention to sustainability and the use of organic products. We process and serve our guests mainly seasonal products from the region. We aim to offer you an unforgettable taste experience that rounds off your visit to the beautiful state capital of Munich – whether professional or private – without losing sight of the price.
In summer, our cosy beer garden invites you to linger.
CELEBRATIONS & MEETINGS
We have two bowling alleys and invite you to use them extensively for 6 € per hour. An ideal way to have a lot of fun with your friends. We also serve you there with food and drinks from our restaurant. Opening hours 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Reservation required. Just give us a call.
Celebrations in the separate area of our restaurant. We make possible what you want. In summer we also have tents of different sizes that we provide for your celebrations. So you can celebrate in the garden and just go into the tent when it rains. Enjoy your celebration in a private setting with full service. Ask us about the possibilities.
For fans of the Olympic shooting disciplines, we also offer the rental of clay targets and archery ranges. Send us an email and ask us about the conditions. We will be happy to clarify the details and your needs with you.
We have meeting rooms of different sizes and can therefore also provide you with optimal care if you want to organize a conference or a meeting with business friends. We offer you an all-round service. Ask us!

Our offer for sports enthusiasts who have always wanted to try out an Olympic shooting discipline and at the same time want to explore the most beautiful city in Germany. We offer you two nights including full board and a shooting course in an Olympic discipline of your choice. Just ask us about possible dates for the different Olympic shooting disciplines. This offer was aimed at beginners as well as professionals who want to learn something new. We offer courses at Olympic level.
Fun with Ninepin Bowling
Our offer for sports enthusiasts with a desire for a bowling evening. We offer you an overnight stay including full board and use of the bowling alley in the evening, where we serve dinner at the bowling alley, so that you do not have to interrupt the fun of bowling. Ideal to do sports with others and to have a lot of fun. We are also happy to make offers for groups. Ask us about the possibilities.
